Default Trimmed 3dr arches..

Anyome got any pics of wherr they have trimmed the bodykit and arches to accomodate wider wheels? Im going to have to do mine or drop down tyre size so pics please

I cut mine right back and had to roll the metal arch right up - i will get some pictures later - doesn't look too bad on black cars

What ET were you running mate and tyre sizes?

Yh pics would be good as id rather just drop down from 235's if its going to look messy.. Only problem is the 235 tyre on the 8" wheel look so right on the car

here are mine that were trimmed for escort cosworth wheels ya can jus bout see how much hope it helps






this is the only pic really with them on the car i now not a good pic

My rears are seriously hacked about.....running 245/0-17 on a et15 on the rear. No pics, but I could take some over the week end for you?

Yh if you could mate but yours overall are approx sticking out by 25mm compared to mine

Here's mine fitted with 245/35/17 you can just about make out how much i've trim the arches, wheels are 8 x 17 ET23:

Not really noticeable to the untrained eye mate what did you do about the actul arch did you roll it?

I was going to roll the rear arch but though knackers to that and took a plasma cutter to them then bonded the arches on with Tiger Bond I left the bottom holes on the arches un cut so i put a couple of large black pop rivets in there.
They still catch alittle under hard aceleration so when I get around to powder coting the rear beam and fitting my new diff i'm going to properly plasma cut them right back leaving just enough (about 25mm) to bond the arches to.

ahhh ok mate.. I dont think il have to go as far as you have as mine are 8x17 ET35 and 235/40 so theres around 11mm wider on yours compared to mine if im working it out right
