Need help...just fitted 5 speed box
to my mkII escort. On the gear box there is an electric sensor instead of a speedo cable hole. Is there any way of converting this so that my speedo will work again? In the meantime I will have to use my road angel.

have you removed the electronic sensor plug on it ? i would have thought the sensor would be in the same place as the old cortina ones which obviously ran a cable
