Default Vivaro alarm problem,Anyone had this?

Last few nights my alarm on my 06 reg vivaro (standard fit) has gone off 3 times for no reason, Just googled it & found a post on VXon.com saying the sirens had separate batteries inside? Also that its a common problem on these??

Anyone else had this? I need to sort it ASAP as im starting to piss off the neighbours!

Cheers, J.

when you lock the van does it bleep? if so it's got a sensor fault. try turning all the interior lights off before you lock the van up as they are quite sensitive to voltage drops, does yours have the ultra sonic sensors up by the interior light? if so try putting some tape over them and see if it still goes off in the night as i've had a few problems with them.

No doesn't beep, I did think of covering the sensors but thinking about it-it only does it when the vans nit been run? When its been used it's fine so maybe it is the batteries in the siren? I'll have a look later
