Default Random blue plug :S?

hey ive got a 1999 escort diesel van and behind the stereo there's a random blue plug hanging down any ideas where this could possible be from or is it an optional extra plug for something?

how many pins? is it in the same loom as stereo plugs? pic would help

It'll be a plug for something yours hasn't got as you say. Not for the fag lighter is it? Thats blue and behind the radio, like a 't' shaped affair

nah it's not the fag lighter, just looks like a random plug but my blowers have stopped just wonder if this maybe it. nah it don't come off the stereo loom comes off the loom that all the heater stuff is on

well I took out and old hands free that was in there so might have done something then sure it stopped around the same time. yea I'll get a pic tomorrow when it's light.

is it not off the heated rear window or foglamp switch up next to heater control?

theres no fog lamp next to the heater controls.

and there wouldnt be a ford cd changer in a van would there

Some of those cores look pretty chunky, so I'd guess it wasn't audio, rather something with a high current draw. Possibly fans, I don't know.
Just been out to the garage but it looks like I gave away my Haynes book when I sold the van

heated window then.....i couldnt remember what side was fog and what side was heated rear window....hence it not being used as your van wont have a HRW
