Default Cossie indicator problem again.

Hi guys, ive recently had the dash out of my saph to try and find any damaged wires etc, that have anything to do with the indicators. my o/s indicators work fine. but the n/s indicators make the flasher relay go into a panic attack and the hazards blow a fuse every 5 seconds. even the fuse on the alarm loom blows, ive cleaned all the earths just for peace of mind. checked all contacts on the indicators except the ones on the wings. has anyone else had this problem. could the indicator stalk be at fault or fuse box??? im baffled. i would like to check everything before i call the auto electrian.cheeRS

I had similar on a BMW I owned a few yrs back. Tried and tested everything I could find/think of but cldn't find it. Auto electrician spent some time on it and found a snapped off drill bit was melted across the wires in the A pillar/footwell ans was causing a short. Previous owner clearly tried to drill the A pillar (speakers I guess) and snapped the bit off. Pure chance that it fell on the wires and being hot melted through, but worth a look as you seem to of tried the rest?
