I was that cold today at work the paint was freezing after it had been put on the Walls!!

Only bonus about this weather is it's given me a half decent job lagging pipework in roof spaces.

-8 here this morning despite the car gauge saying 49.5C, first time in my life I've worn a hoodie to walk down town, and the heater in the astra is shit, even though it's new along with stat, it's a new aluminum one, going to get a proper copper one made.

I did have a radiator in my room but it was heated by the coal fire downstairs that had to heat the back boiler but because the fire went out during the night there was no heat in the morning. It didn't help when my dad cracked the window with a heat gun when he was scraping the paint off before repainting the framework (this was before they got double glazing so the frames were still painted wood).
