Katana's for me, no piccie though, I have a set of Rial DS Optics a 3 spoke design with a elongated slot in the spoke, very few sets made, I brought these back from the factory when I worked for someone importing alloy wheels.

Lordy, got loads!
Old style, flat faced, Comp MOs are awesome, got a set of those tucked away to go on my motor.
Also love Hocks, Imola's can still look good too. TSW made some awesome wheels back in the day, just totally gone to shit now though.
RL7s are probably my favourite wheel of all time though

TSW Stealth, couldn't be any more plain or simple, but there isn't a car that they don't look the tits on! Would have them in a heartbeat if I could find some

+1, my favorite aftermarket wheel ever. as you say, nothing flash, just plain five spokes, but they look good on any car. if only they still made them, and in 18" or 19"

Some aces ones here that I'd forgotten! Love Voodoos, had a couple of sets, but in 15 and 16", would love a set of 17s.
And RS7s are just gorgeous, in either style. Liking the Comp FRs too, don't see those often.
There's very few modern wheels I'd buy, I think the old styles were much much cooler. Most aftermarket rims you see now are really nasty.

this is an awesome thread, tbh there are very little new wheels i like nowadays, but the prob is with old wheels is if they have damage from previous owners
