All the early 90s TSW rims were cool at the time. I've even recently bought a set of Venoms for my Saph! (Pug fitment too for some extra width!)

League Tantrums, jeeez i remember them. I used to try and convince people not to buy them in my old work!
Never did convice anyone to buy the awesome RH Toplines that sat alongside in the showroom in Ford fitment either!

Really?!

Every 'cool' car in every mag had them on at the time, sure they were killed off quickly and short lived, but were certainly a cool wheel in their time.

Ian Birch's twin VR6 engine'd Rallye was the first car I remember them with.

What?!

Venoms were the wheel to have at one time, in about 1997. For about a year, they were like Comps are now, you just had to have a set. Loads of cars wore them in magazines and stuff.

They were a short lived trend, but they were hugely popular at one stage!

Haha, they were awesome! Sitting there proudly wearing the '10x17' stamped into the spokes in between all the shite like League Tantrums

Thinking back there were a lot of really cool TUV German wheels for sale in the shop. RH, Borbet, Ronal, Autec etc.
Just a shame so many folk went for the cheap and nasties instead.

i bought a set of wheels cheap as 'winter wheels' and never knew what they were.
reading this thread i find out they are league Tantrums. lol
sprayed them matt black and put some ditch finders on them. they are ace! cost me 80 quid for four with two tires.
