I tried to update my phone 4 today, downloaded the update yet when it installed it failed, saying cannot restore this phone error 1604. anyone else had this, and if so, how do ya resolve it, i've tried to reboot the phone, i cannot restore from back up, reinstalled itunes, everything but got nowhere, i'm left with a phone that does nothing now. help!!

 

mine updated no problems mate , i'd go to the apple store and tell them, my brother had a new one after it failed they gave him one there and then in the shop

If you cant wait(which i guess you cant) then might be easier/quicker to take it to a Apple store

 

Try turning off your Internet Security while doing the update, my Kaspersky needs turned off to update or restore.

Have you ever Jailbroken your phone and used tinyumberella?
