Football rivalries?Where are the less publicised ones
Ok,there's quite a few obvious ones,arsenal/tottenham,man u/Liverpool,Swansea /Cardiff and who could ignore the big one,shrewsbury /wrexham.
what about the less publicised ones,is something like Stoke/port vale a "rivalry" or not?
I know there's a few odd ones like Brighton and crystal palace which is something to do with their nicknames,eagles/seagulls?
I suppose derby games but do WBA hate Birmingham more than villa etc?
all replies appreciated.

One up my way is Lincoln vs grimsby/boston, but thats more like a familly reunion I suppose

Obvious one.
Birmingham played Villa the other night.
What a complete night of mayhem, took me over an hour getting home, idiots galore all over the roads, roads blocked, looked like a war scene, police riot vans everywhere.
Whats the point!!!

Millwall v West Ham is prob the worst you'll ever witness, Im just glad our club has finally starting to lose its reputation because it was for all the wrong reasons. Theres no place for that shit anyone, Although it seems to be creeping back in some places.

If were talking about worse in UK, then it's Celtic vs Rangers. If just England, then yes maybe, though some have gotten worse. But the absolute worse rivalry has to be Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduck Split.
Then again people have different ideas about the worst though, don't they? Different for different people

West Ham supporters pushed a Millwall fan under a train at a meet up in Central London years ago, a few people have been killed in that fixture from both sides.
I went to the carling cup tie last year at Upton park between the 2, Was unbelievable outside the ground was like a war zone.

Yeah wernt talking about scotland, but even still you go back to the late 70's & 80's & look at the things that went on between them.

Wrexham v Chester is usually pretty bad, police shit themselves, Chester fans are pussies though and the Wrexham boys usually turn the English over
I always remember Millwall coming up to play Wrexham, probably going back 10 years now, was like a war zone, they brought a big mob of lads, had the wrexham lot and the coppers on the back foot to be fair to them, women and children screaming and running for cover as it all kicked off in the main street, shitload of coppers turned up in full riot gear and eventually managed to get it all under control, mindless if you ask me though.
