there ok ive owned 3 of em but there crap for tuning up .Hence y im going for a turbo car next..

But fair play the engine does seem to go on n on..dont ever brake.

 

Oh come on Its not even RWD.

Its just the Ford marketing departments wet dream. Lets make a car thats not really an RS (like the Fiesta RS1800i) and try and live on the memories of a truely great car.

Rich W. The RS2000 and RS1800 are BOTH Very Good cars and a class above the model on which they are based. They are both proper RS's and drive and handle as such.

 

anyone got the adverts for the rs turbo s1 or s2or xr advers or any of the cossie ones would love to see them as I wasn't a kid of the 80's

the cossies never sold that well tbh , they only shifted em when they went cheap as the insurance on em was a nightmare after the 3 doors where all nicked


think the 4x4's where the slowest to sell and most where sold cheeeeeeeaaaaap to get rid of em

then ford decided to change there image and brought out the mk5 to loose the boy racer sales and concetrate on family cars, then they wanted the corporate money now they just want any fookers money

rememeber the saxos being sold in 96 with 3 years waranty and 3 years free insurance too, only on the vtr and the vts models #

i should have bought one then but no fooker liked em

 

ooh and the saxo was only 9 grand too
