Default How do I fix a mk4 Heated rear screen

Can anybody help, one of the tabs on the rear window for the heated screen / ariel has come of (drivers side if that makes any difference), so now I`m without both and in this weather the heated screen, and radio (for traffic updates) are a bit of an essential.

So... anyone know how I can repair it / stick it back together?
Gaffa tape ain`t the answer as I`ve already tried that as a quick fix.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re solder it on with PURE silver solder, but the area must be spotless first to take well, clean it with pine tree resin, wipe off this will leave some residue there which is fine, then with clean tinned iron solder on with pure silver solder.

You can buy also electrical conductive glue as well, think it's FUJIK that do it.

if that doesnt work check what your excess is for glass on your insurance and claim it. wont do anything to your no claims either. if your windscreen is going milky at the corners get a new one out of that too for the same claim it means the glass is delaminating and is fooked
