Ok,this is NOT a for sale thread,I'd just like some info on a car my mate owns which I think is well priced but he can't shift it?

Car is a 1.3 fiesta mk6,think it's an lx with leccy windows and the remote central locking but not much else.it's 3dr in silver with only 31k miles and I think one former keeper.

Now I remember looking at these last year and they were well over £2500 with much bigger miles on them,their pretty well made cars too,never saw many come into the garage requiring major works.

He's asking £1800 but hasn't had a sniff,it's pretty clean but maybe a couple of little dents and scratches.he's been using it since last may with no issues at all.

Is he miles away or just cos of the current Market?

DONT PM ASKING FOR DETAILS,I'LL HAVE TO REPORT IT TO THE MODS,I'VE HAD ENOUGH HASSLE ON HERE FROM PEOPLE TALKING SHIT TO MODS RATHER THAN JUST READING THE FACTS FIRST!!!

current market i'd say. Also many people perfer the 16v. I had a simular when selling my 1st car years back that was a mk5 fiesta 1.3 and people wanted the 1.25 zetec.

remember xmas is coming aswell / timing etc
but that should sell thats not a pricey car with those miles

Thanks chaps,thought it was about right pricewise,the only blot on it's history was some kids tried nicking it on the key before ,i think they drove it about a mile before getting caught!!but it wasn't recorded,cat x.full lockset was changed as a precaution.

It's the duratec Ka engine,pretty bombproof to be fair but point taken on the 16v,nice little engine that.
