some weeks ago the bottom end of my wee fezz decided to start chapping on the door at me. was wondering f i could get a bottom end for it from a 1.8 or 2.0 focus. alot of you rs turbo boys use the zetec bottoms on the 1.6 head. can this be done with the fiesta mk5 zetec-s engine. ? any help will be appreciated.

 

Nope. Completely different engines i'm afraid. If using a zetec-e bottom end, then you need a zetec-e head!

 

damn, cheers saved me some money. there lol. might just go the 2.0 ltr zetec route with the car now then, engine is knackered anyway.

 

How easy does the 2l zetec go into a mk5 fiesta?

 

dunno mate, u running the zetec engine just now. ? i wont be doing this till a hwhile yet, as i jus got the 205 converted to a mi16, cost me a fortune.

 

u on zsoc.com u should become a member there, think there is at least 1 with the 2.0 ltr engine.

 

By far the easiest thing to do would be to slot a Puma engine in. They're cheap, use the same mounts and you just plug them in and go!
