Default GT PSP to GT5 Car Transfer HELP!

For all you GT experts.....

I've been trying to transfer my garage on GT on the PSP to GT5.

Thought it should be straightforward enough. Found the option on the in-game options menu for PSP data transfer, connected via the USB lead which came with the PS3 for connecting the controllers etc. Got it saying "USB Mode" on the PSP, but when I clicked to transfer on the PS3 it just came up "Awaiting Connection" and nothing happened?

Am I doing anything wrong? Everything was definitely plugged in. I've never connected my PSP to my PS3 before, so I'm no expert on that.

Anyone help please?

Ah, now you mention it, I seem to remember seeing that! It's been ages since I played on it. Will give that a bash tonight. It never mentioned that in the manual!

nope it does not tell you how to do it in the manual properly at all but yep it's there i was scratching my head about it for a while followed the manual for it and got to where you did.

Basicly do exactly what you did but start the game on the psp also and then goto OPTIONS OTHER there is a Transfer Garage option there and if you have it connected to the ps3 it will transfer it.

I dont know why they bothered coz you can't use any of the cars for the main gameplay only practice etc
