as above , my single choke is caput so while im gettin 1 anyway i thought of upping it to a twin webber and intake manifold of the 1300 escort but i realy dont get the ins and outs of carbs so wondered if that is a bad way to go or if theres a chance itll work with a few tweeks .
all help/advice apreciated,thanks!! ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

the 1300 carb will be jetted for just that so it'd probaby run quite rich which can also hamper performance if thats your reason for changing it. Or if its just gave up the ghost id check for a local carburettor firm that can recon it for you

There are three different carbs fitted to the 950 festa, so need to know which one ?
You can use the FORD(MOTORCRAFT) 1V from the 1100 festa, there were two different size jets used in the 950 carb, dependant on carb number, a 107 and a 115 main jet, the 1100 carb is 1mm larger venturi and most used a 122mm main jet, which tbh would be perfectly fine.
