it was chucking it down on my way home from work on the a1 around darlington area..down to 30mph at times, visibility was that poor..my car had a nice covering on it when i got home

my fwd tranny was excellent
went everywhere, pushed a shitty (condition) beemer up the rd for a guy too
that was 57 plate, my new 10 plate doesnt have the active 'straighten itself out when its sideways' so i guess ill see a ditch or 2, its already had its 1/4 in the bushes twice
very suprised how good it was tho, with the tc on it just kelp ploughing on, with the tc off it was crabbing everywhere instead
loved it

Been snowing here since late tuesday, getting a decent covering going and should be good by the weekend when heavy showers are forecast. On careful conideration I invested in a set of sport rims for the M5 along with winter tyres and it's been brilliant so far, long may it continue.
Mrs hasn't been so lucky though as she smashed the Mazda into a Dodge caliber yesterday on the way to work....

Cars booked in to get the damaged assesed so will hopefully be fixed relatively quickly. Can you switch the X5 to RWD or is it permanent 4x4???
Was a tiny bit dissapointed it wasn't the M5 she was in, i wanted to get the bonnet and bumper painted anyway!
