Never knew you used the car everyday Marco - . I'd be too scared to leave it parked anywhere.

As for manky interiors, there are my pet hate with cars. Just because you have kids doesn't mean you can't keep an interior tidy IMO.

TFR and a jetwash.
My old old 309 had a couple of boot carpet incidents with egine oil, gear/diff oil and the syrup's they use in pubs to make pepsi are just a couple of items off the top of my bonce,
A handy amount of TFR, 2 or 3 good jetwashes had it coming up like brand new.

hii bud

yes i do the only time i dont use it is when is broke down ..lol.. or away have tuning done to it

i do admire mint cars but to me i dont see the point of having a nice mint motor if is kept in the garage all time and not been used the whole point of having a car is to drive them

since i have had the car i have done everthing in it / track days/abuse crashed it a few times (not bad tho) and for the amount of absue i have gave it the body is still pretty striaght and still a tidy car i wouldn't say mint tho

I know martin still likes 3drs but he would never admit that to me .ahahahaha ...... thats why he building his one right now >LOL

Thanks for the reply Marco - its good to see a cossie like yours being used like that every day

Would I be right in thinking you've owned it for a long time now? Don't hear much about it these days - any plans for it, or are you happy with it in its current spec?

Cheers

Good effort Marco! My old Saph carpet was mingin but black so i got away with it.

I would just get some floor vinyl and have it cut to the same shape as the boot carpet, better for spills etc. Oh and you know you will never sell it bud!

hi bud

yes i have had the 3dr along time since early 1990's

i haven't done alot to it recently but it's basically on gt30 internal wastegate..with 1000cc/eecIV intake with 17mm spacer /air to air injectors with 12 postion boost pot .......... fully re-map by karl this is the best the car has ever driven in my life absolutly perfect on boost or off boost

I really like the off boost driving it has amazed me it's the best few pound i have ever spent ............

For road use this turbo is the bollox is low lag and makes positive boost from as little as 1.200rpm (not loads but still +boost)

at the min the car is on the drive(brokedown lol) theres no current going to the fuel pump i dont know why.... Martin is going to have a look at it some point i recon theres a breakage in the car loom that goes to the fuel pump relay im sure it broke there before same simptoms

Hi again Marco,

you've had the car for a very long time then . Your latest setup/spec sounds like it runs pretty well for day-to-day driving. It's what I'd want - something which runs well both on and off boost.

Hope you get the fuel pump problem sorted out soon.

Cheers for now.

Best option would be to get a set of black sides and boot carpet from a mk2 sierra hatch and fit them, that way you dont have to worry about messing up a minty carpet and it will still be practical to use as a boot and look tidy enough

Kids do rather destroy the interior of your car, they do have a habbit of dropping stuff, spilling stuff, wetting themselves etc etc
