Just out of curiousity anyone know if a crack in the exhaust manifold or inlet manifold is covered under extended warranty? Can't get an answer out of pendragon/ evans halshaw ford. I've had the car since april 57 reg just ran out of manufacturers warranty and the extended has kicked in now! Cheers

If it is blowing from a crack in the exhaust manifold then without a doubt it's covered, and can always stress the danger issue of having to breathe in exhaust fumes, similarly if there is a crack in the inlet allowing air in or out that has not been metered by the MAF then this needs fixing, as could upset things, modern days fords are so shit imo they need everything 100% right.

cheers for that tabetha, booked in next wednesday to get it sorted. Just hate it how they can never give people a straight answer as to whether things are covered or not. managed to get them to look at it for free as they originally wanted silly money just to diagnose the problem!
