Default mk6 wishbones

Hi guys can any one help iv got a mk6 escort i noticed that the front tires were going bold on the inside also car was pulling to one side so i had the tracking done but now the car pulls when brakeing and when i put me toe down iv been told it mite be the wishbones can you guys confirm this also will i need to change track rods and track ends if so how do i change wishbones ect thanks for your help

sounds like a wishbone bush has failed, change both the arms and have the tracking reset. probably nothing wrong with the track rod ends

as above.....i just did 2 x wishbones, 2 x track rod ends and had tracking done on a mk6 i'm selling and its now driving like a new car.

Wishbones have 2 x bolts that hold them into subframe (1 is easier to get into than other but still not difficult) and the bottom ball joint bolt. I'd advise coating them in WD40 a few days before you start and if you have access to it, a bit of heat on the bolts.

I also put new bolts in for peace of mind. Hope this helps.

Hi guys thanks for your help i got me new wishbones today drivers side old one come off no prop thing is im trying to fit the new one but carnt get it in line is there a way to fit ie bolts first or balljoint first that kind of thing also iv go my car jacked up both front wheels off the ground is this the way to do it thanks Rob
