dont know if this is genuine, surely you would need part numbers etc to back it up if ti was from m-sport, but why would it not have perspex windows and surely if it was just a show car the shell wouldnt need to be to wrc spec?

When I did the Mk6 Ford Fiesta launch with Ford we had a very similar car to that come with us to all the demos, it had a 1400 or 1600, I cant remember which exactly but they main mod were a few holes drilled in the back box foir that "rally" sound

IIRC the panels fitted like shit but the cage was proper, nothing like that has

It looks like a dummy shell that M sport used for the motorshows etc andrew gallacher bought a few of these one being a telefonica replica from m sport it looked exact on the outside but it was a bog standard focus another was a focus rs that was used for the press launch had tinted windows when you looked through there you could only see the tops of the seat , but then you opened the doors it was just a black wooden frame with handmade fake headrests.

You'd never get an exhaust and prop side-by-side in that 'tunnel', let alone a box on the back of the engine....

this looks like the one tim finch had, his was the simulator focus wrc which looked exactly like this, the tv screen was put in front of the car and the steering wheel was connected to a ps controller under the bonnet!!!

 

The tunnel is totally standard and only an exhaust will pass through it.

 

If that was a genuine shell then surely it would be up for way more than 4.5k?!

Sadly some mug will fall for it though!

the show cars are 1.6 tdci with a WRC kit on them and are normally pushed everywhere, the glass in them is that dark you have to really look to see the bog standerd interior but a quick look under the backend tells you its a copy

 

This used to have a computer console in it, you can see the speakers in one of the photos!

the ad does say its got transmission tunnel from front to rear
so it will take 4x4 running gear

the seller was obviously on drugs or he took pics of the wrong car
cause that thing dont have a tunnel in it, just the standard exhaust tunnel
