Mk4 fiesta 2.0 zetec conversion - which flywheel?
My mate is converting his mk4 fiesta to run a 2.0 blacktop.
He is going to use a 1.3 mk5 fiesta gearbox with the zetec, so he can use the fiesta gearbox mount and driveshafts, the zetec flywheel is too big and the 1.3 one dosent fit.
Any ideas? I thought 1.8 escort??

Cool, i'l tell him, so just any escort 1.8 zetec flywheel will be fine? Are any others suitable?
I think he knows about the pump and alternator, but why does it matter, ive forgotten I did read about it a while ago, is it just theres no room for the alternator at the rear, so when you put it at the front it spins the wrong way and then drives the waterpump the opposite direction??
What does he need to get round this if he hasent already?
Thanks Lads

u can either cut the standard engine mounting point out of the way and use a mondeo style engine mount but that involves fan work and the belt is rather close to the turret
or front mount the alternator using a bracket like the track designs alternator kit
there was one for sale on the forum here for 70 quid a homemade copy
