wich oil should cossy run stage 3 just to clear things up here as iam saying full syn 10 40 or 10 60 is that right

10w60 is better for high temps....

from castrol, valvoline.....

Was a thread on here a while back sayin 10w60 is to thick for road going cosworths
Think the likes of Mobil1 motorsport where recommended,15w50 IIRC

im using silkoline 15/50, seems alittle quiter than the castrol rs10/60 its a proper synthettic as well not a cracked mineral like the rs stuff.

give oilman on here a shout, he supplys the silko stuff

I am going to use 10-50 Sikolene Pro S10 from Oilman. Propper Synthetic.

You will struggle to find genuine synthetic in any normal shop.

Give oilman a call and have a chat, they will explain hydro cracked synthetic is just fancy mineral oil and ester based is the real stuff.

If you buy 25l from him it works out cheaper than Mobil 1 too (which is a fake synthetic!)

hmmmm, im pretty interested in this as mine needs doing soon. I currently have RS 10/60 in mine, and i do have to say, it does tend to run a bit noisy....

cost me £70 for 10ltrs inc delivery boody good oil though

It's certainly streets ahead of Castrol RS 10w-60 but costs the same.
