They weren't ford to start with
No cossie badged ford was ever produced whilst Cosworth were ford owned
They have always done plenty of work for Merc/Audi/GM/Chrysler etc etc that is generally not known and they have probably developed the casting process that is the envy of those who havent got a license to use it
