As a few people have said, he comes across as rick playboy having a kick out of driving the rally car and for that reason, doesn't have the 'eye of the tiger' to win. I don't think he'll ever be a champion but he's certainly got a lot of talent and is living the dream. Hell, I'd LOVE to be in that position.

I would like to see how Loeb would get on doing tricks in a Fiesta in a cluttered car park though!

 

Not really into the WRC these days but i like Ken, he's a good driver, a proper adrenaline junkie.

I do chuckle to myself on these things, not a lot of people know his back ground.... people seem to think he's just some show off...

 

Obviously his fame got him into the WRC, plenty of better choices to graduate from the JWRC that could easily take his place. He's really slow on every stage in comparison to others and makes a lot of silly mistakes, much like Raikonen....their gimics IMO.

But he's still a good driver in a lot of respects.

The WRC is such a different world to anything hes done before. He has to make and trust his own pace notes and a Focus WRC is miles faster than anything hes rallied in the past like his Impreza. Hes doing alright at the moment and got his first points the other week in Spain on a surface he has barely competed on so theres signs of improvement.

I see he is entered for Rally GB so will be great to see him driving up close compared to the others
