Not a fan of the modern stuff much although I do like the XK and the new XJ, I like alot of the older ones E-type, MK2 etc.

I have a XJ8 4 litre 99 v plate. I had wanted a jag since i was a kid and last year i took the plunge and bought my one. Surprisingly quick for a big car, not great on fuel but its a 4 litre v8 what do you expect. I love it,so effortless, its like a magic carpet ride.

I have always wanted an XJS or XJ6, My Dad had a V12 XJS when I was a kid and it was brilliant, pulling up at school everyone thought we were millionares

My uncle also had an XJ6, it was only the 2.9 litre but it was so comfortable to drive, like fjk404 said a magic carpet ride.

Nope no XK has manual, one exception the XKR-R which was a concept car which had one, pretty sure the XJS was the same as well.

I had an XJR6 at 21, 9 years ago now! They were only 320bhp but did shift. I had an auto but there are a few, and quite rare XJR6 manuals around.

I don't think they ever made the V8 XJR with a manual box, although to be honest it's the type of car where you just sit back, relax, plant your foot to the floor and hit 155 before you know it.

This is the ultimate really:

If I wasn't moving house, therefore skint, I'd be having one of these now. Pretty much bullet proof engine and box, and plenty of them breaking for cheap parts when the other stuff goes wrong!
