how do i get passionford up the same as it is when using the my laptop

im using a nokia x6 and it comes up in list form, just txt

all other sites i use comes up as normal

It does on the iphone's but I don't think it does on Nokia's.

I was trying to do this for a mate on friday in the pub and couldn't work it out. He bit the bullet and ordered up an iphone

9 times out of 10 i use my phone to look on pf at the moment. Its a bit of a pisser cause u cant see the pics people have posted up.

i have a sony ericisson satio they use symbian s60 like a nokia and it comes up ok loads as passionford mobile

It's because your using the mobile version, that is designed for mobiles otherwise you would be racking up data charges not to mention the time pages would take to load with images etc. (If you look at the link it will be m.passionford.com)

It may be the phone knows about the mobile version and therefore uses this opposed to the full version, on the Iphone it asks you when you visit the site if you want to view the mobile theme or not and as said a link at the bottom to revert.

i've had a few issues with the mobile version so i use the main version

if you post this thread up in the problems and policies room you'll get much better replies from the peole who actually work on the site doing stuff

On my iphone passionford has always been as it is on my laptop but this morning it asked me if I'd like to use the mobile version, I said yes and now my iphone won't load the mobile version or the full version of passionford... how do i reset it so that it uses the full version of passionford?

Whenever I go on it it gives me the option of using passionford mobile, I decline and it's in normal forum mode

Just tried it... didn't like, so scrolled to the bottom on the home page and clicked on 'Normal', hey presto, it's back to normal.

sort of agree, but i think older phones will benifit as their slower downloads and screens etc won't have sigs and everything taking up space and bandwidth and useage

Images work using the m.passionford URL for me and what I prefer to use when on my iPhone as it loads way quicker. I don't use Safari as my browser I use Atomic Web Browser.

I have a user hide agent on my Nokia N900 which allows me to send the browser identity as Internet Explorer or similar and I can view the entire web on it as I do on my PC>

I'm not sure if something is available for Symbian powered phones though.

Got a Nokia x6 and downloaded a new browser called Skyfire. Can view sites in full with it. Think I got it from the Ovi store,

yeah i had that problem with my N86, its because pf have not sorted the software out for symbian phones, so its stuck in mobile view, where as other phones like the iphone can view it like a pc can.

But downloading skyfire like Rob said above might be a way around that for you nokia users?

Its abit annoying on the iphone when every now and again it asks "click ok to view mobile mode" i only need to be asked once
