House electrics advice
I'd like to fit a timer on the 350w towel-rail radiator in our ensuite to take the chill off in the mornings.
In the bathroom, the radiator is wired to a fused spur, with a switch outside on the bedroom wall.
Just taken a peek in there and there are the IN and OUT ring wires and the thinner cable that goes off to the fused spur.
The timer has three ports on the back for Live, Neutral and the third only for use in a 2-gang installation. None of them are big enough to take the heavy duty mains wiring.
Any suggestions short of putting the timer in the place of the fused spur - it is on the opposite side of the room from the bath and sink but I doubt if it would meet the electrical regs.

You can get timer switch fused spurs (digital), ideally you'd get yourself one of those and simply replace the switch outside the bathroom with one of those, job done
