Default Anyone buying from Currys?

I have had to order a tv for a colleague at work this morning, and i thought i'd see if i could save her some money and found this site

http://www.discount-voucher.co.uk/promotion/Currys.php

the codes work too, i can vouch for that

Just thought someone else could make use of them!

I'd never buy from currys again.
I had a shocking service from them a few year ago with a home cinema system. It kept going faulty every month. They refused to refund me until eventually it was beyond repair after 5 times of taking it back to the store and sending it off ect

Richer sounds all the way now

you overlook a shop specialising in home entertainment in favour of one that sells toilet rolls, tampax and toilet duck when purchasing a telly! I've heard everything now

Personally I dont really see what difference it makes, when its the same product wherever you buy it

no difference at all!
What i cant understand is the thought process going into said purchase of the telly, i really cant understand why you wouldnt even look at a national retail chain who are known for home entertainment but you'd look at a shop that sells grocerys! Got me beat that one.

Why not?so by going to richer sounds where some spotty teenager tells me what tv he "thinks" I should buy,or actually the one he's desperate to get rid of more likely!!

If you know what product you want, why not just buy it in the cheapest place possible?I know richer sounds are good value but if it's a better deal elsewhere then why not use them?

I bought my old girl a 36" Sony LCD tv from tesco a few years back for Ł200 less than ANYONE else.

On the subject of currys I bought my 43" toshiba digital PROJECTOR tv there in '99 for Ł2100 and fair play beside batteries in the remote it still works perfectly...............worth literally Ł10 now,but I can't bear to part with it!!!

Richer Sounds meant nothing to me until i googled it!!! I dont have one of them near me, the nearest is in Romford, which isn't that far but when ya dont need to go there you dont know about them, and on their website they dont have the TV anyhow!

I think i got her a good deal! she wasn't a 32", so i ordered her the 32", 1080p lcd tv for Ł334 inc delivery

tbh it was exactly the opposit with me, i went in as they had the tv my mate got on special, they had no stock there so they sold me the upgraded one for the same price. I went all over and the closest price i could get for the upgraded panel was 400 more then them

Wow, all this shit for trying to help people save a bit of cash

Caz, I checked the link as I bought my IPad from Curry's last week and hoped I could argue I was not told of the promo's available, so I clicked the link you supplied and got this:

Save Ł60 on all Orders
Use code 60POUND and save Ł60 when you spend over Ł799 (excludes iPad)
Everything excludes IPad

I like Richer sounds for stereo stuff as I am not 'that' into the sound side of things...

but I'd always be careful with Tvs from there. The only time they seem to compete on price is when they are offering old models or slightly different models or TVs.

They always had these slightly moody Pioneers back in the day. Everyone else was selling PDP50XDE's... they had something slightly different... and funnily enough, not as good! not that they told anyone that!

Another good place to try if you have a card or a friend that has one is Costco. They also provide a 5 year warranty with their TV's too. Worth a try when shopping around.

Tbh just walking in anywhere hoping to get what you need is daft nowadays. Research the telly/system you want then buy that one. Everywhere will mug you off with shit if they need to get rid
