Default couple of Ebay questions

right, never put anything on ebay but am tempted..

Is it better to put the auction on co.uk or .com??

Can you withdraw the item at anytime, incase its not making much money

Does it cost to put an item on?

thanks

Put it on co.uk.
.com is the us site but you can have it availible to the world by selecting 'post worldwide'

Set a reserve, pulling items because they aren't making what you'd hope isn't in the spirit of the game!

No, Ebay is a charity
Yes it does, not too much tho.
It will charge you a listing fee depending on what options you select then a %age of the final selling value.

I sold a radio controlled car for a mate. Went for £649

Buy It Now Listing Fee £0.06
Gallery Fee £0.15
Insertion Fee £2.00
Listing Designer Fee £0.07
Picture Fee £0.36
Final Value Fee £20.93

£23.57 total

Starts adding up when you get involved with 2nd catagories and all the other little options.

Personally I think it's a good selling tool but fook me they must be making some money
Thousands and thousands of auctions the world over, add the fact they own paypal who take another 4ish % out if you buyer pays with paypal.

Good little earner I reckon
