Ages ago i dropped my quite expensive stereo when i was redecorating, and just never got around to find out whats wrong with it.

whenever it is turned on a gradual buzzing noise comes from the unit not the speakers, any idea what this could be as i really don't want to throw it away!

please help!

 

Try dropping it again.

 

Could be you've caused a broken joint, phone fullers in Needham mkt as they do repairs.

Could have de-laminated the transformer. That'll make the bugger hum.
