hi guys i have a V reg mondeo 1.8 td lx. and while i was driving tonite it died and wont start. i have fuel in the pump so i no it getting fuel but what i have noticed is the alarm light is always flashing. the car turns over but refuses to start. please can someone give me some advise. is it my immobalizer and if so how do i solve it help please.

but if the red light is flashing, is there a sequence to the flashes or is it just continuous as normal?

that would suggest a fault with the chip in the key

its just continuous on and off every few secs

As said it sounds as if the car has lost partnership with the key, do you have another key you could try as a test?

no i do not have another key for it. i was driving when it cut out lol. any idea how to resenc the key with the car please.

thanks so def sounds like key needs resenc then. have you rough idea of cost lol
