Default fiesta heater not getting hot

anyone come across this before its always blowing cold and i dont think its the heater flow valve!

na the car keeps its temp as it always has i was more thinking the control switch as it gives no voltage to the heater tap when on hot but dose when cold

There is a valve that the 2 heater matrix pipes go through on the bulk head. This is what the fault could a. Its a common fault on the mk4/5 fiestas. I think the valve is about 45 quid from a local motor factor.

As above defo the problem get a second hand one for a tenner if your a cheapskate.

na its not the valve as said it has no voltage to the plug when on hot if u plug the valve in the plunger moves about half way across but stays there what ever u do with the switch tryed a new one and it dose the same

as said normally the valve but i have change one switch panel before that was faulty. I'm sure its the hole bit with the fan switch, heat, direction change knobs and air con switch.
