Default 'Beta Testing' Request

Hi all,

I've been re-doing our online shop to make it a bit, well, better (old site http://shop.gear7.co.uk) and I think it's ready to go public........

If you've got a spare moment, could you have a look over it and perhaps do a fake sign-up / order (choose normal checkout and then pay be cheque or transfer, don't worry, I won't hold you to it!). Just need to make sure it all makes sense to new visitors and that it doesn't break!

New site URL: http://store.gear7.co.uk

Thanks in advance!
Chris

Cart is top left but set to just show number of items and total. I do intend to link the 'Shopping Cart' title - at the mo it's just the 'view cart' text, which isn't very obvious.

Are you guys on IE, firefox or ...?

Thanks for looking and the feedback!

Just on REFS at the moment, I'll have a gander in the morning and offer my opinion as I'm a geek and like doing things like that

Im on a stable linux release of google chrome, but firefox looked good too. Cart would be better if it were more obvious imo, did you do it your self mate, very impressive.

Thanks @ Rick Astley - look forward to your feedback!

Rob - I did build it myself yep, although it's not coded from scratch. The old site was osCommerce and took a lot of coding to get anywhere near where I wanted it... The new one runs on Drupal with Ubercart and a load of other modules. I've had to do about 20 lines of PHP in total, no HTML and only the odd CSS tweak.

It's a very powerful CMS, but has taken a lot of work to configure as it should be - mainly for SEO purposes and to support a parametric search/filter facility in the future.

Thanks again,
Chris

Happy to help with Funktion 1 or Golden Scans! I have enquired to Stu about trade membership, so will hopefully be able to do promotions for PF members in due course....

What is it you want Funktion One for? I'll be listing Meyer and D&B soon (probably on a POA basis!) - the D&B range is fantastic. Can also do Community, JBL, EV, Martin, Nexo, Clair Bros and EM Acoustics.
