plugging ipod's into different computers and not wiping the music
hi,i have plugged my ipod into different computers to take music from other peoples itunes.another guy set it up for me before.
i know its something to do with ticking the manually managing music box on the itunes homepage.is this all you need to do or is there something else?
a lad i work with wants to plug his ipod in to his computer but his comp got re-formatted and has wiped all his music and is worried it might wipe all his music from his ipod..

There are programs on the net you can download, i normally use one called sharepod but there are others touchcopy and copy trans manager to name a couple.
