About three years ago, we had some pictures taken for a new business.

Today I was contacted by my wife's boss because one of them has turned up on someone else's website who are not connected in any way to my company or the PR agency we used.

They aren't even in the same industry, but there we are on the Careers page of their website with our logo almost visible in the background.

I'm not particularly bothered about my mug appearing, but I'm curious as to whether a commercial enterprise can use another's pictures like this, and how they got hold of the picture - so far as I know it may have been used only on printed material.

I'm sure I read about software that can take a picture and trawl the web to see where else it appears - anyone now what it was called?
