I do think they were buttering up Cher as she is fragile and likely to fall to pieces if they slated her performance which I personally thought was average.

Surely there must be something better for you all to do on a weekend than pay any attention to horse-shit like this show and all the other "talent" shows?

Watch something on another channel, or put a DVD on, read a book, clean the car, scrub the toilet. Anything has to be better. Or am I the one who's missing something?

Out of interest, are all the people watching this, also the people that watch big brother and the other "reality" shows, while people like me that don't watch any of them? (Except the Apprentice)

 

Did someone say they thought Cher was going to win?? WTF? They have turned alot of people down in the past, saying that they aren't ready. Well, she is the ULTIMATE example of that. She has some talent, but has a long way to go yet and with some of the seriously good girls they turned down, it was not right. Cher should have been told to come back next year. She's too nervy, its not right. She's trying (and failing) to do what Katy B CAN do already.

What is disappointing is that Gamu had her problems. She is fantastic.

There were enough fantastic girl singers that got turned down for there to DEFINATELY be a winner in that category. As it stands (and we haven't finished watching it all from last night yet), the best so far is Matt and the Tesco woman, they are both great performers, with excellent voices and lovely personalities too. We have the last half-hour or so to watch yet.

I think Storm is great, a fantastic performer with a great voice, but they got it wrong with his performance. Same went for alot of them, trying to force them to do something that they really aren't comfortable with. I understand that they want something different.

Also, dont get why the best singer in One Direction (Harry?) didn't do a solo. It's only really him and Liam that can sing.

 

Wowserz. Treyc was fantastic. There are only 3 or 4 really strong singers in there and the competition should be about these IMO....

I refuse point blank to watch it. It's mind rotting television at its absolute worst. It's massaged and manipulated from the very first moment onwards. Ever wondered why theose shockingly bad people look so gobsmacked when Simon and Co say they are shit?? It's because teh poor fuckers have passed 2 prior auditions and an interview before even getting to the judges. It's a load of bollocks and shits on people that are a bit soft for ratings.
