Yet again another nice old ford been nicked. It really pisses me right off hearing about theses storys. I also its found.

 

I'd put good money on it being a VW Passat B5 Estate in Silverstone Grey. There's more of a gap between the lights and rear window on an A4 of that era.

Car towing trailer is a VW Passat and the pic was taken by a fellow Notts Group Member who thought the car was going to have some work done over the winter.
He took the pic to have a bit of banter on the forum and phoned the owner to be nosey and see what he was having done.

They reversed the trailer on to the property and loaded the car up while the window cleaner was doing his work, they didn't care who saw them and looked that normal that no-one twigged what was happening.

IF the car is a Silver Passat Estate the police if they are even interested could actually do some detective work....

call up all the silver passat estates of that shape within a I dunno 50 mile radius on their database.....(can't be that many) then check which ones have tow bars......etc if there are a lot then it would probably be a pain in the arse so even less likely the cops would do it.
