Angry caution!! fake car buyer

had by car up for sale on a few websites gumtree, ebay, pistonheads etc and i have had a few emails and one being from a boy called ( NELSON CRUZE) asking for more pics and i sent them asked more question sounded like a genuine buyer asking all the right questions. i asked for a phone number for to spk to him and he blanked it and sayed he was working on a oil rig and wouldnt get a signal n i thought that was a bit strange then he asked my addres so he could get quotes for a transporter so i told him that when the car gets collected the car will be in ..... ..... this street just incase he was just looking for cars to steel and he asked what number i was but i wasnt gona tel um that then he asked for an email addres to transfer funds for the car to so i was happy i was getting full asking price so i told him and got an email from so called paypal it looked real but i later found out it was a fake email but it sayed it was for 800 more that i asked for but then he hit me with it is for you to transfer to the transporter but i would have to transfer the 800 out my pocket first then get it into my paypal account i was like fuk that.

i then got an email from so called ebay saying that some 1 has tried to acces my ebay account from a forign ip address and that my account has been suspended and i had o click this link and i did and it wanted my bank account details and home addres details etc to confirm it was me and then my account would be reactivated i thought it was definitaly dodgy and signed into ebay no bother so my account wasnt blocked,

thats my story over just shows you what thes cun£s will do to get ur money

just watch out if ur selling something that u dont get caught out.

Dirty scammers mate. The name would have had me on edge for starters, but asking for my address and saying he is working off shore??

Sometimes it is easy to get carried away, especially when asking prices are met from the off!!

rule 1

cash on collection or cheque to clear before collection

rule 2

never ever click any link in a email that says its from ebay or paypal, always go to ebay site direct from your bookmarks

if you have clicked on a link in any email you could well have gotten a keystroke tracking virus that monitors buttons pressed to find out your passwords, i would run an antivirus with spyware detector to find and cure it then change all my passwords if i were you mate
