Don't waste your money, it will come back and vibrate usually caused by DTV rather than warping that always gets blamed.
If still wanting to any decent machine shop with a lathe can do them, but make sure the are BACK SKIMMED, otherwise you have even less chance of a good job.

any reason you are skimming them as opposed to buying new ones?

I must say i agree with tabetha, warped or cooked discs will not recover from a skim, but slightly pitted or corroded ones will. (most fords sit all winter waiting on better weather so the discs can suffer lol)

This is what I thought, unless it's a massively rare car, surely buying new disks would be the best option

I think it means skimming the front and back in the same setup to maintain parallelism of the two faces.

Again, depends on why they need skimmed, if it is to make them flat again for new pads or to remove pitting then i say skim, if its because they are cooked then buy new.

Correct, though I have seen a brake specialist skim a face, take the disc out then put back in lathe and skim the other side, when the problem was the faces weren't true to the hub face!
I couldn't believe what I was seeing from geoff at high spec!!

lol, amature! be lucky to get it within a couple thou that way, even with soft jaws, not good enough. as long as the face of the disc is filed/emeryed smooth and the fixture is faced flat in the lathe (as shown) then they will always come out spot on, and it makes it a very quick and repeatable operation if you have several to do.
