Who's Running With Turbo Water Feeds Blanked Off?

is it safe to run without any water going through my turbo?

will it shorten the life of it? has anyone damaged a turbo due to this?

reason is, i keep braking my sodding water feeds and i want to get rid of them now

You MUST run water through a GT turbo

. I do not on my T4 though.

i'm running a GT28R, so i assume its a no no

is there a reason why?

On the true Garret GT turbos with external waste-gates (not the hybrids), the oil feed supply is too small to run without cooling and needs the water-cooling to prevent the oil from overheating.
