have got the perfect car i want to buy and the only thing stopping me is the bloody insurance, least at mo is 980 a year, i am 36, 7 yrs no claims, clean license and its only medioca modified, its doing me tits in

insurance is a piss take i still aint never had the cheap insurance we were supposed to get at 25 and i'm 32 now lol

nah an esc cos imp blue, t38, greys, susp, exhaust, wheels nothing mental mate, my 3dr is only 340 a yr and i cant justify paying triple that

well, i recently insured my 3dr for £580, has a roll cage, diff engine and should be over 4x the power as standard lol

i thought that was pretty good.

aldershot is not that bad a place, so it shouldnt be loaded too heavily...

my fiesta rs turbo is 5 grand! i dont pay it. its off the road but last year i payed 3k. i only wish my insurance was that cheap lol. theres some perspective, think of the young people on the ford scene. 5 grand for a standard FRST

£500 fully comp all mods declared stage 3 3door cossie and 1.6 escort on same policy
im 27 have 3 points and 8 years no claims
my rs turbo last year was £280 all mods declared running 200bhp and i live in a pretty shit area tbh
cossie is adrian flux rs turbo was performance direct

was paying £185 a year fully comp on my s1 with an agreed £5k value, paul is a top bloke and into his cars so a great bloke to deal with, deffo give him a go. Make sure you speak to him though.

Insurance premiums are only going up at the moment. Compared to last year I have an extra years no claims making it 6 in total and my insurance still went up by £86. The insurance companies reason?! couldnt give me one "thats just what it says mate" was the reply I got.
