Midnight launch, was at a mates watching the europa league. Thought we would pop to the local tesco's and get fifa 11. Over 200 people queing!!! sales assistant said it was a 45 minute que to the one till they had open! Mental.
Drove into town to gamestation, picked it up, walked straight to a till and was on my way home in 5 minutes.
Only difference was tesco's had it for £1 cheaper.

ps3 has been cracked!!!!!!!
Or download and transfer to hdd( OR BURN )-use usb and away you go

Havent sony already update their online service with a patch (so if you want to play online you must downloaded it) which removes this exploit?

 

Asda are supposed to have it on offer for £30

Not if you use a proxy to show it been updated to the PS3.

Why you suprised? The 360 is a dedicated games console.

 

I'm trying to find out if there is any truth to this. Although playing it on xbox at my friend house seemd much crisper than on my ps3 at home. Finding alot of stuff about upscaling etc..

 

i know what you mean. But i was told that the games are made for xbox then changed to fit the ps3 weather that's true i dont know but it alway's seem's better on the 360

I got this yesterday in Asda, was only £30. Still in clear wrapper but hopefully get a chance to play it at some point. Always loved FIFA footy games

 

I think the FIFA world cup 2010 still plays and looks better imo.

The anti-aliasing is better on the 360 comapired to the PS3.

 

im gona go to asda in abit and pick up a copy. against my better judgement, i bought a new style 360 on tuesday, i had seven old style one's, and the all got the old RROD, so ive always stuck with the PS3, but i got the new style 360, with forza 3, and halo 3 odst, for £150 in tesco, so i thought sod it, ill see if the new one's are any better.

 

Yup done som investigating and they both run 720 but the 360 has upscaling so its looks alot crisper. The big difference is the shadows in the game. On ps3 they are very blocky compared to the 360.

I am indeed. I bought it on the ps3, went over to a friends and played it on his xbox, pinched it as I thought it looked so much better and wanted to check on my tv. Tried em both and in comparison the xbox does look much sharper.

Oh and not to mention once its installed on the xbox the loading and save times are easily twice as quick.

 

I've always rated the 360 over the ps3 for gaming. I had both and got rid of the ps. It's ok if you want a jack of all trades

 

It varies from game to game. But when multi platform xbox always seems to cut it. Probably because game developers use microsoft compatible software to make the games, then have to spend ages coding it for sony's own software in the playstation.

It was the same with red dead redemption, The ps3 version looked pretty bad compared to xbox. The difference in flat texture detail was unreal.

 

Same here, seemed over rated to me so sold it and went back to 360.

 

I kept both, for things like uncharted, gt5 (eventually) killzone etc. Especially with uncharted 1/2 being up there with my top games of all time. Hopefully gran turismo will be worth the wait. Also, having both I dont fall into fan boyism and I dont miss out on any exclusives.

 

Yeah I thought uncharted was ace and the main reason I got a ps3 was gt5, just got sick of waiting. If gt5 is as good as all the hype i'll get another but I doubt it will be. And I aint that biased really because Ive always been a massive playstation fan.

 

oh yeah me too, big playstation fan, Have had all 3 on release day. Just seems to be that developers are putting more effort into xbox games due to the ease of the software.

 

thing is if i didnt have a blu-ray player or a laptop i'd of kept it. But just for game's not a chance. Unless gt5 is spot on i wouldnt entertain another one.
