Can anyone reccomend a body shop car restoration companies for a bare shell paint job on a MK2 escort.
The shell will have either been blasted or dipped, so we are talking inside out and underneath to concours standard, idealy London or the surrounding home counties, but would consider anywhere.
I have had quotes of £3k-£7k, I just want to be sure I get an excellent job.

I can recommend an awesome body shop that specialises in resto work. But they're nowhere near you, it's in South Shropshire. Can give you the details if you like though. They're the best I've seen bar none though, hand on heart.

Body Beautiful. They do a lot of Resto work on old Jags. XK120's/140's etc and loads of E-Types, but will do anything and everything.

He recently did a bare metal respray on a Moonstone 3 door.

 

I can reccomend Andy @ Berkshire Bodyshop, painted my mk2 and loads of other old skool cars in the Reading and South Wales area, also does his own fab work, prices are very keen too.

 

I'm ponderong on getting my bumper and Bonnet done, BUTTTTT, i haven't got much confidence in alot of places to get the corect match..... i'm told White on a 3dr is hard to match as there are a few different shades...
