http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2082053.htm

These are good, easier on insurance and plenty around for less (04-05 cars) if you fancy some change.

If the Manaro is anything like the VXR8 I'd go for the equivelant BMW, personally. I've driven my friends a lot and prefer his ST220, as does he which is why he's selling up. Much better car to drive all round.

Benni.

I'm not sure what the equivalent is to the Manro, but the M5 would be for the VXR8 because of it's size. Yes, driven it often and it's a complete animal. Very long geared, but will take you to 160 in no time at all. It has massive breaks, but to be honest you wouldn't think so, and it's a little unstable under heavy breaking and on an uneven road. There are roads we've taken much quicker in the Mondeo were it's a rough road, with no drama and the VXR8 is a little unsettled. Not much feeling through the steering, and the suspension could be a little better. Very comfy for a car on 19's though, and I'll miss it. Although weirdly, his Mondeo has been parked up and we are both missing it. Ha.

His is provisonally sold to a guy on PistonHeads, however, he is having to get an intimitant fault on the indicator fixed first, and once that's sorted it should be sold.

Benni.

wouldnt bother with that Focos if you have to rely on it everyday....much more of a weekend Toy.

for 8k you cant go worng with a monaro, they drive good and although a little plasticky, as all vauxhalls are, they are great value.

you might be able to get a mk5 golf GTI for that money, havbe driven one of them and they are superb....total transformation from the mk4 Turbo.
