porsche 928GT v8 RWD 170+mph (has to be a GT to get a manual, or older s4 manual), at 6'3" not a problem,
or merc cl500/600

This R1 turbo Fisher Fury for Ł8200 wouldn't be a bad shout, then spend the change on some brakes and still have cash left over.

Looking at, reasonably fast, two or 2+2 seat cars with more than 4 cylinders turbo or n/a. Is it possible to buy a car with flappy paddle semi auto gearboxes?
For Ł10k exactly most likely an 8P A3 3.2.
Ł10k isnt a great budget, everything below it is a bit shit and everything in the pricerange you need to spend a bit more to get a good one. Ł15k it would be an e46 m3, Ł12k a lexus is250 (strange one...but great for my needs).

Nice clean late as possible, low mile Focus RS MK 1
Everyday Driver and with a few sensable mods will be quick enough and reliable for daily dutys and should hold its value as well

With those requirements, which others seem to be totally ignoring (I'm just going to ignore the >4cyl one
), then I'd be going for a Honda S2000.
Cheers,
Grant

How about a Monaro, plenty big enough for a 2+2 and if you get bored loads of scope for more power

why does nobody ever mention a integra dc5 in these threads. cracking car, handle well, good on fuel, come standard with decent tyres, big brakes and comfy seats. ideal for the od track day aswel. you'd also have plenty of change!

I've not checked the prices but you must be able to get a 350z for that money.
