just spoke to carla , cannot belive this is true !!
im absolutely devastated , know lee for a cpl years we had endless fonecalls ect, and last time we spoke he was in good spirits ,saying he wouldnt give up fighting ,
carla says " he fought to the bitter end , and passed away peacefully eairly hours of this morning ,
shes going to let me know when the funeral is , hopefully i can attend .
my deepest condolences go out to carla , the kids and lees family ,
imo people dont get any better than lee did !!!!!!!!!

Really sad to hear this - had some good banter with him and he'd even offered to introduce me to some contacts for RnR work (I was a theatre soundy a few years ago).
My condolances to those he leaves behind - be they family or friends. He was an inspirational chap and I am sad to have missed the chance to get to know him better.

I've had the honour of calling Lee my friend for many years as we grew up a couple of doors from each other.
A nicer, big hearted, friendly, genuine car nut you will not find.
