1.9 xr2 on 40's

(car is a 1,6 escort si on m plate)
went out 2 it this mornin and it try'd 2 start but wouldnt quite go, try'd a push but it woulnd have any of that either

kickin the bumpers, doors and bonnet also fail'd

try's jumping it but it seems slow to turn over and stinks like fook of fuel (in bay not from exhaust ), seems like its tryin to start on full throttle but wont actually go


ne1 know what controls the injectors on this bit 'o' crap??

i take it the ecu takes care of it all but if sumthin else has a hand in it then ill give it a bash too :P

also is the zetec likerly to be ok and run on a 8v 2i ecu? its the only spare i have got but its not PATS or owt :x

im figurin that the injectors re bein told to stay open u see, not sure tho
