pontiac trans am, like smokey and the bandit shape, but the later years had a 4.9 turbo v8 engine

the buick GNX that vin diesel drives at the start of the last fast and furious film, and the GNX is still one of the fastest prodution rear drive cars ever made, the same engine in the syclone pickup truck is still to this day the fastest pickup ever made as far as 0-60 in 4 seconds, was back in 1990!!!! the pickup was 4wd though, but the GNX was rear drive.

capri 2.8i turbo technics, capri tickford, sierra 2.8/2.9 turbo technics, also the maserati biturbos are now cheap as chips unless they gone up in value.

just had a look at these how much bhp does a standard 2jz make?
only problem i can see is the turbos being on the left side of the engine which might cause me some problems with the brakes

if you want non turbo but turbo power, the Omega uses the same chassis as the monaro, so that means it will take a nice big throbbing v8 in the engine bay with very little work.
