was on my way home tonight, clutch been slipping but this time up the hill i needed............. 7000rpm to get to the top haha ITS DEAD! now parked at a mates flat......not looking forward to the cost of a st170 clutch!!!

good thing your changing the fly while its all apart but chances are the dmf would have been fine if you'd got the clutch changed when it first started slipping, it'll be completely fucked by now

such is life... got fezzy zs now to drive while me n the misses decide what to do with the car... keep and build. repair and sell or just disown it haha

It's a pretty easy job tbh fella,loads of places stock the changeover kit now,I'd guess about 2-300 for the bits,about 5hrs all in to do so no more than about £500 tops with box oil etc.

Thats a piece of piss when you look at the bill i got for my omega a few weeks back. 9+ hours for replacing my right exhaust gasket. (3.0 v6).
